The Trinity College Jazz Ensemble is devoted to the study
and performance of great jazz music of a variety of styles,
from Ellington to Blues and Bebop. The band includes reeds,
horns, piano, bass and percussion. The Jazz Ensemble
performs on campus several times each fall and spring,
including at the Underground, the Bistro, and the Goodwin
Theater in the Austin Arts Center. Jazz Ensemble can be
taken as a course for one-half credit, Music 109.
