IRP Fact Book

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) and other offices at Trinity compile a wide range of statistical information about the College. In the public fact book, we have collected some of the frequently requested and used information about statistical trends at Trinity. Where possible, we provide ten-year trend data.

Statistics about various aspects of the College become available at various times throughout the year. As information on a topic becomes available, that section of the fact book will be updated, providing the most recently available information. Although we have attempted to provide the most accurate available data, there are no doubt some errors. These will be corrected as they are found.

Common Data Sets

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson's, and U.S. News & World Report. The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers. The CDS is a set of data items with common standards and definitions that are frequently requested by guidebook publishers and others interested in information about colleges and universities.
