AGENCY FUNCTION: Multi-service private child welfare, mental health and social services agency with programs in child welfare, child guidance and family services. The department of continuous quality improvement, research and planning consists of three professional staff, four research assistants, three grants office staff and a secretary.

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Interns may be assigned to a project ranging from evaluation of an agency service to research in domestic violence, child abuse, and education. May be involved in literature reviews, research or evaluation design, data collection, data entry and analysis, and report writing. Familiarity with computers, Spanish and interviewing helpful.

HOURS PER WEEK: 8-16
