AGENCY FUNCTION: Child care center open 7:30 to 5:30 weekdays for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Parent Power program that provides parents with workshops, support groups and community involvement opportunities.  Visit www.tc4.org for more information.

INTERN ACTIVITIES:

1/ Teaching Assistant: Participate in the planning and implementation of activities with the children, assist with developmental assessments, conduct research on a particular behavior or topic related to early childhood education or recreation.

2/ Child Advocacy/Administration: Assist in child and family advocacy with state legislature, U.S. Congress, state and national early care associations; work on development, fundraising and grant writing. Assist Executive Director in management and administrative issues.

HOURS PER WEEK: 8-15
