AGENCY FUNCTION: A non-profit educational institution whose purpose is to stimulate public interest in and understanding of environment/science/technology. Facilities include: the Gengras Planetarium, United Technologies Wildlife Sanctuary, Planet Cyber: A Computer Adventure, Kids Factory, Idea Zone, and traveling exhibits.  Visit www.sciencecenterct.org for more information.

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Interns can work in most areas of the Center including Education, Communications/PR, Exhibit Interpreter, Preschool Teacher’s Aide, Wildlife Sanctuary, Planetarium, PlanetCyber (computer lab), volunteer program management, and guest relations. 

HOURS PER WEEK: 8-16
