AGENCY FUNCTION: A place where people can come together to build community, become involved in the renewal of Hartford, and promote community activitsm. Operates a restaurant, sponsors programs and workshops, involves people in youth projects and activities supporting city neighborhoods, serves as a bridge between city and suburbs.

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Assist in coordinating Youth Learning Network projects developed and conducted by The Gathering Place. Work with kids, teachers, volunteers, neighborhood leaders.
