AGENCY FUNCTION: Center City Churches, Inc. is a non-profit, non-sectarian social service agency that assists thousands of people each year in three areas: basic needs, children & families and special populations.  Programs include MANNA (a program that provides emergency food, fuel, and assistance, nutrition for homeless individuals and meals for seniors on weekends;) Peter’s Retreat (supportive housing for people living with AIDS;) and Center For Youth (a program providing educational and family enhancement services.)

INTERN ACTIVITIES: Crisis intervention, tutoring, nutrition program, housing issues, projects with the elderly, and HIV/AIDS supportive services are some of the areas available to an intern.
