BEACON - Biomedical Engineering Alliance and Consortium SPRING, SUMMER, FALL. A non-profit business providing services to members in the medical, academic, and corporate world all devoted to medical device technology. Services include seminars, symnposia, conferences, newsletters, and meetings. BEACON wishes to provide its members with a bi-weekly online newsletter (1-2 pages) with updates on the industry, activities, member ideas, etc. An intern with strong research and writing skills is needed to research, design and write this newsletter. No prior knowledge of the industry is needed, as training will be provided. There will also be some general office duties required from time to time. BEACON is located on the busline near Hartford Hospital, with free parking available.
