  Academic Information

Why the IDP at Trinity?
It offers you a first-rate education at an affordable cost. IDP students receive up to 35% reduction in tuition. You’ll master the fundamental skills that will last a lifetime - how to think, how to learn, and how to communicate, and prepare you for success in whatever you decide to do.  You will study with professors who are devoted, inspiring teachers who bring their passion for teaching to the classroom, and to you.  Because of the College’s small size, you will come to know your professors personally and establish one-to-one working relationships with them. And you will discover that learning happens outside the classroom too - over a cup of coffee, in the student center, or dinner at a professor’s home.

Academic Options:
Trinity offers 37 majors and over 900 undergraduate courses in the arts and sciences, including educational studies, computer science, engineering, public policy, and more. IDP students can opt for part-time or full-time study, with opportunities for interdisciplinary studies, independent research, self-designed majors, study abroad and internships.

Campus Resources:
As an IDP student, you’ll have faculty advisers to help you plan your academic program and a peer adviser (another IDP student) to provide both academic and personal support. The Library and Information Technology Center features one of New England’s largest collegiate libraries. Through the Career Services Office, you receive career and graduate school information and advice, as well as connect with over 1,500 Trinity alumni and parents.

Trinity also offers an exciting array of activities – concerts, lectures, performances, exhibitions – that will enrich your education. IDP students can also take advantage of the Ferris Athletic Center, the cultural houses, the Women’s Center, the Health Center, Career Services, and more.
