The Graduate Studies Program offers counseling to its students, both in matters relating to academic pursuits and to more individual concerns. In keeping with its liberal arts focus, Trinity College attempts to relate the academic interests of students to their individual, vocational, and personal requirements. Upon acceptance as a Master's degree candidate, each graduate student is assigned a faculty adviser, who assists in the planning of the academic program. In addition, Nancy Birch Wagner, the Director of Graduate Studies, and Mrs. Marilyn Brazil, graduate program manager, are available for consultation throughout the year and may be reached at (860) 297-2527.Career Services
Members of the Career Services Office are available for individual career advising and assistance in the preparation of résumés and job search strategies. In addition, the Office offers extensive on-line and hard-copy resources for use in researching careers and employment.
Counseling Center
Dr. Randolph Lee and Dr. Carmen Santos are licensed psychologists with special training and experience in dealing with developmental and emotional problems. They, as well as advanced doctoral student trainees, are available to graduate students during office hours at 76 Vernon Street for consultations leading to referrals. Where appropriate, psychological testing may be utilized under their supervision. Psychiatric and other referrals are also available. All communication with the counseling center staff is strictly confidential as provided by state law. No information is disclosed without the student's consent.
