Popular, national, and some religious holidays are listed here. On all national holidays, and some religious holidays, most businesses and all governmental agencies close. Private institutions like Trinity College independently decide whether or not to close for national or religious holidays. In general, classes continue to meet regardless of holidays Trinity and local businesses observe.
