If you are studying away on a Trinity affiliate
program or approved program, you must submit a copy of your
acceptance letter to the OIP in order to confirm your study away
plans. You are not
confirmed to study away until this letter is received.
If you are not accepted on any program, please
notify the OIP. The staff may be able to assist you in gaining
acceptance to another appropriate program. This is very important.
Once you have committed yourself to studying
away on a particular program, be sure to contact your academic
adviser and the department chairperson (if you wish to earn credit
in your major) concerning your choice of courses.
Remember that you must file an
Application for Transfer credit by May 1 or November 15 with the
Registrar’s Office to ensure that the courses you plan to take on
your program will transfer to Trinity College. On this form, you may
also request that transfer credit be applied to your major, minor,
or the general education requirement.
