Students should consult their major department
in determining how study away will affect their academic program at
Trinity and plans for graduate or professional study. Students
should consult the Career Center for information about how study
away can enhance your career plans. In the Trinity College Handbook,
there is a list of the members of Advisory Committees for
professional school disciplines. Considering how study away might
complement ones future can be a useful planning exercise that can
help students integrate study away into their post-graduation plans
and provide them with valuable experiences to offer graduate schools
or potential employers.
Students who plan to study away during the
first semester of their senior year and plan to attend graduate
school the following year should be aware that their transcripts may
not be available prior to their application deadlines.
Study away for the second semester of the
senior year requires special permission (consult the Office of
International Programs and the Registrar for more information.)
