Using 1-Ethynylbenzene and reacting it with t-BuLi, DMF, and KH2PO4, as formalized by Kwame Frimprong, a phenyl propargyl aldehyde can be formed. After creation of the propargyl aldehyde, the final product was obtained using Au(III) and In¡ catalysts with allyl bromide (Fig 1). The research covers Cope Rearrangements and formation of C-C bonds by In¡ and the accelerating effects of Au in different solvents.
