Physical Chemistry Laboratory

The Physical Chemistry Loboratory was remodeled within the last 3 years. With the advent of instrumentation used within this course and the aid that computers bring to this style of learning, the Physical Chemistry lab in Clement Chemistry Center was the first room on Trinity College's campus to have wireless inter- and intranet access. Students enjoy a seamless learning environment that incorporates both a lecture style of seating for comfort, but also contains all the instrumentation and bench space needed to conduct high level experiments. The seminar table along with full AV capabilities makes this room ideal for many upper level courses taught at Trinity College, and the room is very well utilized by all areas of education.

Where the Chemistry work is conducted Left Side of Lab/Empty
This portion of the laboratory is set up in traditional style with bench space for the students to work on their projects. Henry DePhillips goes over final instrumentation testing before the laboratory begins. This side of the "lab" is constructed to double as a seminar meeting area. An idea that has met with great success.
