Utah, Spring 2009

The 2009 National ACS meeting was held in SNOWY Salt Lake City, Utah from March 22-26.


Why travel to Salt Lake City? For Chemistry of course!!!

Merry Smith presents the culmination of her senior thesis during the Science Mix.



Piper Klemm was also presenting her senior thesis work at the ACS meeting.



Madelyn Light (2009) has been instrumental in working with the Chemistry deaprtents MALDI-TOF MS.



Brice (2009) talks about his 2D and 3D - NMR experiments.



Jack (2010) chats about metal insertion in homo-conjugated hydrocarbon cages.



When Andrew (2011) is not pitching baseballs, he is pitching his chemistry, which is coming along nicely.



The students all gather together for a group photo during the festivities.



The weather was quite snowy and wet during our stay in Salt Lake City, making it perfect weather for looking at posters and listening to some great chemistry!!!!
