Summer Baseball!!
The New Britain RockCats!!




After working hard in the laboratory all day, what better way to relax than a AA-New Britain RockCats baseball game? The students in the Chemistry department went to two games this summer, and had a very nice time, although New Britain lost both games, the last one by a score of 17-1!!!

The evening was quite warm. Here Michael Johnson (left) and Kwame Frimpong shield themselves from the tormenting sun by utilizing their "Crazy Bruce" shirts as hats!		 consoled

Jackie, Claire, and Joe thought that kidnapping the opposing team's mascot may help sway the game. Alas, the mascot made a daring escape and returned to the ball park. Better luck next time!!!		 MUCH FUN WAS HAD BY ALL. BASEBALL IS NOT QUITE AS MUCH FUN AS CONDUCTING CHEMICAL EXPERIMENTS, BUT IT CAN BE A NICE DIVERSION ON OCCASION.



A good time was had by all of the folks involved. The students work hard during the summer months, and this is a nice way to relax on a warm afternoon!
