Piper Klemm was the first person in our group to present. Landing in New Orleans at 10:00 AM, she was all set to greet visitors by 1:30 pm!

Kwame Frimpong and Jon Nyce were up next as they presented two times. Once at the Science mixer and once in the heteratomic division.

Here Katharine and Kwame pose with Tony Balanger. Tony is a former Trinity College student currently in his 4th year of graduate studies at Boston College. Both Katharine and Kwame will be attending the BC graduate program beginning in the fall of 2008.

As an international meeting, there are thousands of chemists discussing their chemistry. The size of this poster presentation room gives a glimpse into how many folks attend.

After a busy day of attending talks, and visiting posters, the group settles down for a nice chat and dinner.

With all the chemistry activities, the evening grew late by the time everyone was ready to head back to the hotel. Here is a photo of the skyline as the group returns to the hotel.
