I want to let you all know that I'm now living in Manhattan and working at Columbia University Medical Center as the Research Coordinator for Orthopaedic Surgery. The surgeon I work for, Dr. William Macaulay, is a Trinity grad from the biochemistry department too! This job is the perfect stepping stone into medical school. I'm learning a lot about the medical care system and the lengthy road that lies ahead of me. I plan to apply to medical school for 2009. But in the meantime, I'm trying to explore as many areas of medicine as possible, develop my singer/songwriter abilities, and travel as frequently as my job and wallet permit.
