Trinity College Chapel Singers

The Trinity College Chapel Singers is the college's oldest student organization dating from 1824. Following the admission of women to the college in 1968, the Chapel Singers became a mixed quartet. In 1977 Chapel Singers became a mixed voices choir and today numbers approximately 30 students. The Chapel Singers perform regularly at Evensong and Eucharist Services on Sunday afternoons at 4:15pm during term.

They are also featured at special Services such as The annual Services of the Lessons and Carols of Christmas, which is usually on the second Sunday in December. (December 8, 2002 at 4:30 and 7pm). Chapel Singers also perform at other important college ceremonies including various convocations and academic ceremonies, memorial services and other special events in the life of the college.

On occasion, The Chapel Singers travel off campus to perform.

In May, 1991 they made a performance trip to England where they performed concerts at St. Paul's Cathedral, London, Clare College, Cambridge, Chichester Cathedral and Arundel Cathedral.
