LAN Adapter.
- Highlight 3Com AirConnect wireless adapter in the components list and
click on "Properties"

- Make sure that "Wireless
LAN Service Area" is blank.

Finally click "OK". ( No changes should be made
under advanced settings)
You should now be able to get on to TrinAir! Boot your machines in
one of the public areas listed on the main TrinAir Page to
start wireless email and web access. If you're having trouble please contact the
Student Help Desk at extension 2007.
Note: The wireless part of Trinity's
network is considered to be an insecure public area. For security reasons, any user
wishing to access Trinity servers such as Shakti or Zep from the the
TrinAir network will have to establish a tunnel into the secure section of Trinity's
network. Certain online databases from the library's website will also be
unavailable, (although the catalog will be accessible). Documentation is available on tunneling
and VPN use.
