Double-Sided Duplex Printing for Mac OS X

1. Open the Print Center by double-clicking on the MacIntosh HD icon on the desktop. Navigate to Applications, then Utilities, and finally the Print Center.

2. From the Print Center, highlight the printer you would like to configure for duplex printing. From the top menu, select the Printers menu, and then Show info.

3. From the Printer Info window, select Installable Options from the drop down menu. From the window that appears, check the box next to Duplex Unit as shown below. Click on the Apply Changes button.

4. Next, open a document to be printed and select print from the file menu of the program. When the print dialog box appears, select Duplex from the drop down menu as shown below.

5.  Click on the box marked Print on Both Sides as shown below.

6. From the Presets drop down menu, select Save As, and save the new settings as 'Duplex' or any name you choose.

7. Click OK to save the preset. Click Print, or Cancel if you do not need to print the document you opened to create the duplex settings.
