Adding Special Characters

The symbols feature allows you to add percent signs, copyright symbols, or characters from different languages.

To insert a special character onto your web page:

  1. Move the cursor to the place on the page where you want the character to appear and click once (this sets the cursor location).
  2. Select "Symbol" from the Insert menu.
  3. When the window appears, move the cursor to the character you want.
  4. Click once and the character you selected will appear in the box next to "Insert".
  5. Then click "Insert".

  3. Select "Symbol" from the Insert menu.
  4. The following screen will appear:

  5. Move the cursor to the character you want.
  6. Click once. The character you selected will appear in the box next to 'Insert.'
  7. Click Insert.

The character you selected will be placed on the web page at the cursor location.
