As Systems Manager, Kris nurtures the servers which support administrative applications such as PeopleSoft, DocsOpen, and Cognos. Kris is also involved in the maintenance and day-to-day management of numerous software applications.  Kris has been working at Trinity College since 1998.

Anne is an Applications Specialist, responsible for PeopleSoft administrative software. She joined the Trinity Staff in 1980 as a Computer Operator in the Business Office. In 1986, Anne moved to Administrative Data Systems in the Computing Center as a Specialist supporting the Business Office, later supporting the offices of Human Resources and Payroll, and finally to her current position in the Enterprise Applications Group.

Emmanuel is responsible for the management of all of the computer public labs and classrooms on campus. Emmanuel entered Trinity as a student in 1994, graduated in 1998 and began working at the Computing Center very shortly thereafter.

David plays a primary role in providing network infrastructure services such as name service, web caching, e-mail delivery, printing, and file serving. His areas of expertise are network protocols, Unix and Linux, interoperation with MS-Windows, and cross-platform printing with PostScript.

Mike has been a member of the Computing Center since 1989. Most of that time has been spent supporting the college's administrative applications and offices. Recently, he has filled various roles in Trinity's ongoing campus-wide PeopleSoft implementation. Prior to Trinity, Mike was employed in a company specializing in software systems for small manufacturing firms.

As director of MTS, Phil is responsible for coordinating in-class A-V technology and special event servicing. Phil entered Trinity in 1980 as a student, and essentially has never left.  Working with the Classroom Manager, MTS assists in coordinating classroom installations and is responsible for maintaining the operational status of the rooms.  MTS also provides an array of production services.  For more information, call the department.

With his recent move to the Network Services Department, Brian focuses on LAN and WAN network maintenance and problems. He particularly enjoys upgrading faculty lab machines, and dreams of the day that his job will resemble that of the Maytag repairman.

Donna is an Applications Specialist in the Enterprise Applications Group.  Donna joined the Computing Center in 2000 in the Administrative Data Systems team where she held primary responsibility for supporting Student Records applications including Registrar, Admissions, Dean’s Office, and Residential Life. Her current responsibilities include functional support for PeopleSoft administrative software and analysis/design/development of processes and reports using PeopleTools, SQR and Crystal Reports.

Jean-Pierre supervises instructional technology support, the maintenance of Trinity's learning spaces and classroom technology, and advocates the effective use of technology in support of the curriculum. As head of the web and applications development group, he is responsible for the design and implementation of online services in support of the college's academic and administrative requirements. Prior to joining Trinity in 2000, Jean-Pierre spent many years as a faculty member at the University of Washington and Fordham University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and an M.S. in Computer Science from New York University.

Craig is responsible for creating custom Microsoft-based software programs for various Trinity College departments. These programs are developed using numerous programming languages and database tools such as C#.Net, VB.Net, VBA, JavaScript, XML, HTML and SQL. As a central member of Trinity’s core programming team, he is active in all areas of the software development process.

As Director of Information Technology, John is responsible for all aspects of information technology services at Trinity; he came to Trinity in 1986. In addition to his IT role, John has taught in the Political Science Department (Empirical Political Methods and Data Analysis); he has also been involved in Trinity’s “Smart Neighborhood” efforts (including the creation of the Trinfo.Cafe), and is a member of the committee that evaluates Trinity’s urban academic programs and projects.

Greg Matejcik is an Instructional Technologist in Academic Computing.  As part of the Academic Computing team Greg is responsible for working with faculty and other members of the academic community to support and promote the use of Information Technologies that enhance all aspects of teaching and learning. 
Greg comes to us from St. Lawrence University where he was the Interim Director of the Newell Center for Arts Technology, a computer center designed to meet the technological needs of the arts and serve as a technological hub for collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts.  Greg is an alumnus of St. Lawrence University, graduating in 2004 with a B.A. in Music.

Ralford is responsible for maintaining many of the college’s application servers, including those used for e-mail, filesharing and Blackboard.  He ensures interoperability between the servers and the applications housed on them. He has been working for the college since 2000.

Sarah is responsible for the Enterprise Applications Group, which includes PeopleSoft administrative software and related functions. The group manages the data warehouse, supports end-user report-writing tools, and develops analytic data models and various administrative programs and reports. Sarah is a certified financial planner with expertise in data management, business process improvement and project management.  She joined Trinity in 2003 and is currently in the Public Policy graduate program.

In addition, Luca oversees telephone and the Optim System (Id Card System) at Trinity College.

Peter Sobering has held a variety of positions over the course of his 20+ years at Trinity. His beginnings date back to the days when computing happened in Hallden Labs, or it didn't happen at all, and anyone who did it, did it on PDP-11's, VAX computers and mainframe links to Yale. Peter has held a variety of position in Academic and Administrative Computing and is currently the Director of Information Systems.

Dave has been in Academic Computing at Trinity since the summer of 1999. He is the primary contact person for faculty members in the Social Sciences (including History). Dave is the support person for statistical software such as SPSS and STATA and also supports the use of GIS.
