ACTUARIAL ASSOCIATE FOR THE RETIREMENT LINE OF BUSINESS

As an entry-level hire in our Retirement line of business you will gain the technical knowledge and develop client service skills to become an effective actuarial consultant to our Fortune 1000 clients. Candidates must have a strong quantitative background, demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent communication skills and be comfortable in a demanding client service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance or another quantitative field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• PC proficiency with spreadsheet applications (Lotus 1-2-3 or Microsoft Excel); ability to customize software and the desire to learn

Successful candidates will take initiative in self-development and will work well in a team environment. Effective time management, attention to deadlines and flexibility within a dynamic environment are essential. A strong business background is a plus. Minimum 3.5 GPA desired. Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams - 60 credits preferred, but not required. Actuarial internships, a plus.
