Practice Interviews
A
practice interview can be invaluable to students as they prepare for professional
interviews for summer or
entry-level
jobs. A practice interview is essential because it provides students with a risk-free
setting in which to
develop
and strengthen their interviewing skills. These videotaped sessions include twenty minutes
of Q&A followed
by
ten minutes of debriefing and feedback. Students receive a written evaluation from the
interviewer and
encouraged
to view the videotape with a career services advisor.
Alumni and local business leaders are called upon to conduct practice interviews throughout the year and you can do as many or as few as you like, whenever your schedule permits. If you are interested in participating, please contact Career Services at 860.297.2080 or Career-Services@trincoll.edu.
