On-Campus Networking Events
Alums are invited to campus for networking luncheons, receptions and dinners throughout the year.  We cluster these events around career topics and during these events you and other alums will discuss your career path, offer advice to those interested in the field and answer questions from students. 

These gatherings not only help students gain a better understanding of the expectations and the day-to-day realities of their prospective career choices and a greater knowledge of how to best position themselves, but also provide students with valuable contacts within the alumni network.

Once each semester, President and Mrs. Dobelle host networking dinners in their home. Since many second and third interviews occur over a meal, these sit-down dinners provide students an opportunity to practice the fine art of networking in a risk-free setting.

            Off-Campus Networking Events
                  For alums outside of Hartford, watch your email for details about networking receptions in your city. Career Services                     currently hosts networking receptions in conjunction with our recruiting programs in Boston, New York, Washington,                     DC and San Francisco.  We hope to extend these efforts to other cities across the country.
