  Student Services

Media Technology Services offers a wide range of Production Services, Classroom and Instructional Support, and Workshops. We also assist in planning events that utilize audio visual equipment and staff. Students are encouraged to contact the department with any questions on instructional media technology, and production or event services.

Common service requests from students include: sound systems for dances, support services for lectures, and variations on traditional audio visual support services at student functions. The full range of audio visual services is available to the student body. To ensure quality service, contact
Media Technology Services at least one week before an event. Large events and those requiring a technician require a minimum of two weeks notice. Link to the Requesting Service, Event Services and Fees pages for further information on requesting audio visual services.

Please see our pages on Department Policies and Workshops for information on borrowing equipment for academic projects. A partial list of equipment is available on the AV Equipment Available for Loan page. Only students who have completed a workshop or demonstrated sufficient knowledge may borrow a video camera or use video production equipment. A minimum of one-week notice is necessary for booking equipment. Students working on academic projects should plan accordingly.
