Equipment Available For Loan
A
variety of audio visual equipment is available for loan from the
Audio Visual Department. Students, faculty and staff may borrow
the equipment listed below for academic and college-related
activities. All loans are for 24 hours, with longer loan periods
granted on an individual basis based on need and equipment
availability. Priority is given to academic projects. Additional
information on borrowing audio visual equipment is available on

Boom
Box
The Audio Visual Department maintains a number of Boom
Boxes of various sizes for cassette and CD playback in
classrooms lacking an installed system. These units will
provide good quality playback and sufficient volume for
all but the largest teaching spaces. Boom Boxes should be
booked at least two days in advance. |

Cassette
Recorder
Cassette Recorders for taping interviews and meetings may
be borrowed for academic and administrative purposes (such
as recording interviews of meetings). An adapter for
recording telephone interviews is also available. |

VHS
Camera
VHS video cameras and tripods are available for academic
projects. Students, faculty or staff should contact the
Audio Visual Department before commencing a project
involving video to secure adequate training on cameras and
editing equipment. Cameras must be booked one week in
advance. |

Digital
Still Camera
Digital still cameras are available for academic projects.
The Audio Visual Department cameras can be booked for
24-hour loans. These cameras are Sony Mavica models that
require PC-formatted floppy discs for picture storage and
transfer. |

Resources
The Audio Visual Department maintains a variety of less
commonly used equipment available for use by the Trinity
Community. Contact the office regarding these resources. Not all
equipment is available to loan, and certain equipment requires
training before access is granted.
