Group 2 Topic

"The Individual and Historical Change: Biography, Subject, and Social Context." How much do the actions and qualities of an individual, of a "subject," should be considered the central factor in realizing or preventing change in human societies? Or should the assessment of the subject's importance be reduced to allow a greater explanatory power to historical context, to social structures, etc.?
