Reserving Campus Space

It is strongly recommended the event sponsor contacts the Calendar and Special Events Office and/or the room scheduler at least four weeks prior to the event and program.  Please be ready to provide the following information: event title, date, time, estimated attendance, desired venue, the kind of event (lecture, dinner, seminar, meeting, or conference) and campus support services (Campus Safety, Chartwells, Facilities, and Media Technology Services) needs.  A departmental account number must be given at the time of the reservation.

The following spaces are reserved through the Calendar and Special Events Office:

  • Academic Classrooms
Once the academic classroom schedule is determined by the Registrar's Office in early September and January, the Calendar and Special Events Office is responsible for reserving classroom space (day and evening) during weekends, vacation, and summer and the Life Science and McCook Auditoriums after 4:00 p.m. when classes are in session.

The Registrar's Office is responsible reserving all classroom space (day and evening) when classes are in session during the academic year and for the summer graduate and undergraduate courses.  Please contact Kate McGlew at 860-297-2116.
