The Rome Campus is nestled among villas and
gardens atop the Aventine, one of the seven hills of Ancient Rome,
overlooking the Tiber River on one side and the Circus Maximus on the
other.
Sublime monuments, beautiful piazzas,
bustling markets, and lively cosmopolitan neighborhoods—the Colosseum,
the Roman Forum, the Capitoline Hil, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona,
Trevi Fountain, Trastevere, and Testaccio—are all within a short walking
distance of the school. The Spanish Steps and the Pantheon, a slightly
greater distance away, may also be reached on foot. Convenient public
buses and the subway reach the main commercial district of Rome within a
few minutes. The program provides bus and metro passes to every student
for the semester.
