"I loved everything. The professors were so amazing and very willing to be friends just as much as teachers. The program trips were unreal, and the opportunities to foster deep and lifelong friendships with people is something I could never quantify." -Rome Campus Student, Fall 2012
In a typical semester, the Rome Campus has approximately 60 participants, drawn from America’s finest colleges. Visiting students have been an essential part of the program since its inception in 1970. The program welcomes roughly equal numbers of visiting students and Trinity students. New friendships and personal growth develop through diversity on campus and the adventure of immersion in Rome.
From 2004 to 2013, the Rome Campus has enrolled visiting students from 37 colleges and universities: Amherst, Barnard (Columbia), Bates, Bowdoin, Brandeis, Brown, Bucknell, Colgate, Cornell, Drew, Duke, Hamilton, Harvard, Holy Cross, Kenyon, Lafayette, Middlebury, Mount Holyoke, NYU, Occidental, Penn, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Pomona, Princeton, Skidmore, Southern Methodist, St. Joseph’s College, Stanford, Swarthmore, Tufts, the University of Maine, the University of Virginia, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Vanderbilt, Wesleyan, and Williams.
