The Trinity College Rome Campus offers the opportunity to obtain hands-on, experiential learning experience through internships in a mix of settings in Rome, including museums, human rights organization, schools, government and community service:

  • Although internships are available to students at all levels of Italian language, preference may be given to students who have basic or intermediate Italian.
  • Internships are unpaid and earn academic credit, and will be taken in conjunction with a seminar about Italian workplace culture (1 Trinity credit = 3.5 semester hours).
  • Unless otherwise noted, internships require an average weekly commitment of 8-10 hours.
  • While the Rome Campus does everything possible to place interested students in an internship, placements are not guaranteed and may vary according to sponsor availability.
