Each semester, all students enroll in the program’s core course, "Imagining South Africa" taught by the Trinity-in-Cape Town Academic Director, Subithra Moodley-Moore. This class is taught seminar-style and is designed to provide students with a framework for understanding contemporary post-apartheid South Africa.
The program also features an internship seminar that complements the community engagement internship requirement. Students enroll in an academic internship for 1.0 credit and working with
a local NGO, school, museum, medical clinic or other institution.
In addition, students enroll in 2 or 3 regular classes of their choice at one of the host universitie, studying alongside their South African peers. Please refer to the Academics section of this website in the left sidebar for more information on the universities and links to the course catalogs.
