Faculty-in-Residence, Trinity in Buenos Aires
Silvina Persino is the Trinity College Faculty-in-Residence for the Buenos Aires study away program and the primary contact for students on the program. She is in charge of coordinating and overseeing the Trinity in Buenos Aires core course, Buenos Aires: The Urban Experience, Human Rights and Cultural Production, and internships and independent study projects. She was born in Buenos Aires, received her M.A. from Hebrew University, and has been a Hispanic Studies professor at Trinity College since 1998.
IFSA-Butler Resident Director
Mario Cantarini and the other IFSA-Butler staff in Buenos Aires compliment and academic responsibilities of the Trinity faculty-in-residence by providing student support services throughout the semester. The IFSA staff will make the home stay arrangements, assist with course registration, provide excursion, and overall support as needed throughout the semester.
