The Trinity in Barcelona program welcomes students with a GPA of 2.7 or higher and a minimum of one year of college level Spanish or equivalent. The deadline to apply for Spring 2013 study is October 1st, 2012. The Deadline for Fall 2013 study is March 15th, 2013.
Trinity students
**Note that Trinity students must have a Request to Study Away approved before applying to any study away program unless their advisor has specifically advised them to apply before hearing about the request decision (typically due to programs with early application deadlines). Applications to Trinity programs will not be reviewed for students without approved requests to study away.**
All additional materials indicated in the online application (such as passport photos, which can be taken at the OIP or most CVS and Walgreens locations) need to be dropped off at the OIP or mailed to:

Non-Trinity students
1) Request that your registrar's office send a copy of your official transcript to the Office of International Programs, Attn: Trinity-in-Barcelona (full address below).
All additional materials indicated in the online application (such as passport photos, which can be taken at most CVS and Walgreens locations) need to be mailed to the following address so that they arrive by the deadline:

Visa Information
All students studying on the Trinity in Barcelona program will need to get a Spanish student visa. Students should go to the website for the Spanish Consulate in New York City and review all the required documents they need to get and return all documents to the Office of international Programs. The study abroad advisor for the Barcelona program will advise students when all documents are due and will submit all visa applications on behalf of the students.
Please make a note of the following:
- Photos - Students already submitted the 2 photos with their intial application
- Proof of Financial Means - This will be provided by the Office of International Programs
- Letter of Acceptance - This will be provided by the Office of International Programs
- Proof of Health Insurance while abroad - This will be provided by the Office of International Programs
- Police Record and Medical Certificate - only for students studying in Barcelona for the FULL ACADEMIC YEAR
- Copy of Student ID - Although this is not on the list, all Trinity students must bring their Trinity ID to the
Office of International Programs to have it copied and NOTARIZED by Melissa Scully.
