Trinity/La MaMa takes place in the fall of every academic year. Due to its collaborative and ensemble focus, Trinity/La MaMa has a limited enrollment of between 10 to 15 students, drawn from America’s finest colleges. The inclusion of students from both Trinity and other colleges has been an essential part of the program since it began in 1986. Diversity, new friendships and cross-campus exchanges are an integral part of the immersion in New York City’s arts scene that the semester offers.
Over the years, Trinity/La MaMa has enrolled visiting students from such colleges and universities as Amherst, Brown, Carnegie-Mellon, Connecticut College, Dartmouth, Emerson, Kenyon, Oberlin, Smith and Wesleyan among other schools.
