Lisa Sapolis is director of international programs at Trinity. She received her bachelor’s degree in Russian area studies in 1990 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her master’s degree in education from Boston College in 2004, graduating with distinction with specializations in international education and counseling. Lisa studied abroad for six months in Russia and received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to study at University College London in 1991-1992. Lisa has worked previously as a study abroad program coordinator at Iowa State University, from 1994-1999, and as an international study adviser and later assistant director at Boston College, from 1999-2004. She served as an associate director in the Office of International Programs at Trinity from 2004 to 2008. She has traveled to more than 35 countries. |

Eleanor Emerson is Program Coordinator in the Office of International Programs (OIP) under the Center for Urban and Global Studies. Eleanor received her B.A. from Simmons College in International Relations and Spanish. She studied abroad in Spain for a year and has worked in various global capacities before coming to Trinity, including assisting refugees seeking political asylum and later in the field of educational travel and airline relations. She has travelled to 63 countries on five continents.

Brandon Lussier, Assistant Director of the Office of International Programs, is a former Fulbright scholar andNEA fellow for literary translation. He has studied at King's College, London, spent his Fulbright year translating literature in Estonia, and received an MFA in creative writing and literary translation from San Diego State University. He was, for four years, Assistant Director of Off-Campus Programs at Hamline University , where he also taught global studies and creative writing courses. At Trinity, he advises for the Trinity College Rome Campus, as well as other programs in Italy, England, Japan, and Asia. He also administers the OIP's online information and application system. Lussier co-authored a chapter on fellowship and work opportunities abroad for the forthcoming book Poets in the World (McSweeneys Press 2013). |

Melissa Scully joined the Office of International Programs as an administrative assistant in spring 2008. Melissa graduated from Roger Williams University in 2006 with a bachelors of arts in history. Melissa also minored in political science. In the spring of 2005 Melissa studied in Florence, Italy, where she completed a core concentration in Italian studies. Melissa has previously worked with political campaigns in Connecticut and Rhode Island. |
