Study away is an integral part of the Trinity experience and we encourage all students to take advantage of a summer, semester, or full-year study-away program. Approximately 70 percent of Trinity undergraduates study abroad or in another U.S. city before graduating, most for a semester or academic year.

Study away is also a critical component of Trinity’s urban/global focus, offering immersive living and learning experiences in some of the world’s great cities.

To learn more about the study away policies and all the approved programs, please refer to the Guidelines to Study Away.

All Majors + All Degrees

We’ve designed our international programs so that every Trinity student—yes, even science and engineering majors—can explore the world in person and still graduate on time. There are program options to fit your needs and interests and our staff in the Office of International Programs will assist you in planning an international experience that complements your studies in Hartford. Internships are also available to you in many study-abroad locations.
