SPRING 2014 REQUEST TO STUDY AWAY DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 1ST!
Students who wish to study away for the Spring 2014 term now have until April 1st to submit a request to study away! If interested, follow instructions found on the "Submit a Request to Study Away" page.
The 2013 Study Away Photo Contest is Now Open!
In 2013, The Center for Urban and
Global Studies will once again invite students to submit their original
urban or global-themed photographs. Photographs can be from study abroad trips, personal travel, or any other photographs with an urban or global theme.
Up to 20 photographs will be selected
by a panel of faculty members, staff and students and will be printed
for exhibition at the Study Away Fair in October and then at the Center
for Urban and Global Studies for the remainder of the academic year. The
photographers of the top three photographs will receive cash prizes.
PRIZES!
1st Place - $150
2nd Place - $100
3rd Place - $50
Contest rules:
- Three (3) photos may be submitted per student
- Photos should be high quality to ensure high quality prints (300 dpi or higher)
- Photos submitted must be taken by the submitting student
- Each submission must include the name of the student and each photo
must have the location (including country) and a brief description
- All submissions must be accompanied by a completed release statement

Photos can be sent as a .jpeg attachment via email to Eleanor Emerson at Eleanor.emerson@trincoll.edu

Submission Deadline: Photos must be received by August 1, 2013.
Exhibition date: The exhibit of winning photos will be during the Study Away Fair in October 2013.

U.S.) for summer, semester, and year.
