Historical Media Project

The Center for Urban and Global Studies proudly has hosted a new faculty-initiated research project focusing on historical media, which debuted with a year-long colloquium during the 2008-2009 academic year.

The historical media project is co-organized by assistant professors Christopher Hager of the Department of English, and Seth L. Sanders of the Department of Religion, with the recent addition of Jonathan Elukin of the Department of History.

CONTACT

Faculty interested in participating in this project should contact Professor Christopher Hager, Professor Seth Sanders, or Professor Jonathan Elukin.

This project has led to a new focus on the relationship between texts and places, which will be the topic and title of a workshop on October 9-10, 2010, sponsored by the Center for Urban and Global Studies. See the Events and Activities page for detailed information on the workshop.
