Jason Rojas has done extensive work in the area of community relations through his work with the Connecticut Commission on Community Service, where he worked with non-profit organizations in Hartford and throughout the state that were involved with the federally funded AmeriCorps program. Jason was also a project officer for the Private Occupational School Approval division at the Department of Higher Education, where he was responsible for monitoring and evaluating trade and training schools throughout Connecticut. Jason has also gained vital community relations experience through his work as an elected official in the Town of East Hartford, where he served on the school board and town council. As Director of Community Relations at Trinity, he draws from this extensive experience in community relations and works to help strengthen Trinity’s deep and strong connections to the city of Hartford and the surrounding region. Jason earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Connecticut and is currently working toward a Masters Degree in Public Policy at Trinity College.
