WHAT CAN I RECYCLE AT TRINITY?

Paper and cardboard as well as bottles and cans can be recycled at Trinity. For more information on the specifics, please click here, or download Trinity's official Guide to Recyclables.

WHERE CAN I RECYCLE?

Paper, cardboard, bottles and cans can be recycled in all dormitories and academic/administrative buildings. There are also eight outdoor recycling bins located throughout campus.

Compact fluorescent light bulbs can be recycled in Mather Hall (first floor near the elevator).

Ink toner cartridges, alkaline batteries, computers, cell phones, and other electronics can be recycled in the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement (located in the basement of Mather Hall).

HOW CAN I REQUEST A RECYCLING BIN?

Contact Jose Silva in the Facilities Department or Joe Barber in the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement.

WHAT WAS THE RECYCLING TASK FORCE?

In the 2007-2008 academic year, Trinity's Student Government Association, the Office of the President of the College, and the Facilities Department partnered to create a student-run Recycling Task Force (RTF). The RTF consisted of six students whose primary tasks were to educate the campus on what items are recyclable at Trinity and how to properly dispose of them, and regularly monitor and inspect recycling and trash bins to ensure that they are being used correctly. The RTF is not currently active due to funding issues.
