The Smith House is a Victorian style guest house located on the campus of Trinity College. It offers a harmonious atmosphere for meetings, overnight guests, and receptions in a splendidly restored home in a beautifully landscaped setting. The facility has a 64 seat dining room, conference rooms accommodating 8-12 people, sitting rooms, and 5 guest rooms - 2 twin bed rooms, 2 queen bed rooms and 1 single twin room. All guest rooms have a private bath, cable TV, phone, and air conditioning. Nearby to restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls, museums, parks, and historical sites. A self serve light continental breakfast for all Smith House guests is included from 8:00-10:00 a.m.. Event planning and full catering services for functions is also available.
Reservation Information
Room reservations are managed by the Trinity College Calendar and Special Events Office and may be made Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. via smithhouse@trincoll.edu or 860-297-5241.
The Smith House will close for the summer on May 19 and
open on August 25 for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Reservations are being accepted for June Days participants on June 11-16.
Room Rates (includes sales tax)
: Single twin (shower only), two twin beds, or queen bed (private bath): $116.60; queen bed suite (private bath): $140.05
Check-in time: 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Checkout time: by 10:30 a.m.
If you will be arriving after the check-in time state above, please call 860-297-2222 upon arrival to campus and a campus safety officer will escort you into the house.
Payment: VISA, MasterCard, and traveler's check. No AMEX.

The Bistro is located steps away from the Smith House and offers frozen Smoothies, and specialty sandwiches in a pleasant café ambience. The Culinary Table at The Bistro offers nightly entrée specials Monday-Thursday 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday: 10:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.; Saturday: 10:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.; Sunday: 6:00.-10:00 p.m.

The Cave offers a variety of refreshments from pizza, fast food, salad bar, and mondo subs, as well as a vide range of beverages. It is set up as cafeteria style with booths and tables. Friday: 7:30 a.m.-Midnight; Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 a.m.-Midnight

Parking
Limited parking in the circular driveway in front of the House and off-street parking on Summit Street marked “Smith House Guest Parking Only” is available.
Policies
Guest room cancellation: Guest room cancellation requires 24 hours notice or the full room cost will be charged to the credit card or department account provided at reservation.
Smoking: Smoking is permitted only on the porches. A $100.00 charge will be charged to the credit
card or department account provided at reservation if guests smoke in any of the rooms.
Pets: Pets, except those assisting the physically impaired, are not allowed in the house.
Unreturned guest room access cards: A $20.00 charge will be charged to the credit card or department account provided at reservation for unreturned guest room access cards.
