Curriculum

Our curriculum features exceptional science courses and facilities coupled with faculty dedicated to undergraduate teaching and scholarly research.  Special programs such as the Health Fellows Program, the Interdisciplinary Science Program, and the Summer Science Research Institute allow students to explore scientific research in areas related to the health professions.  Additionally, non-science faculty, facilities, and course offerings provide the student with the opportunities to explore and cultivate interest in the arts and humanities.  Students find that courses in medical ethics, medical anthropology, and health economics provide invaluable insight into the issues involved in healthcare in the 21st century.
