We are proud to bring to you the first year of the Common Hour Lecture Series. The Common Hour, approved by the Curriculum Committee to begin in the 2008-2009 academic year is set for every Thursday from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. This time period is set to allow hosting of events and programs of wide interest that will appeal across the divisions of our institution. Too often, very good events are not well attended due to scheduling at times when the campus has alternate events already in place. The institution of Common Hour hopes to eliminate this issue, ensuring that the most popular events are available at a time when all faculty, students, administration, and staff may attend. It is our hope that you will make use of the Common Hour to either host an event, or to attend an event!
