Calendar of Holiday and Observances

Please note: use Holidays, Main Religious Observance for the Display Holidays question to ensure your event or program does not conflict with a holoiday or major religious observance.

Publicity
On-campus publicity is handled directly by the planners of the events.  Trinity Exchange, the campus Web site with announcements and event information, should be used to post events. Flyers, Posters, and specific invitations can be printed by Central Services for on-campus mailing.  Arrangements may be made with the Campus Post Office located in Mather Hall to distribute event invitations to campus departments.  Event sponsors must arrange to have any publicity targeted for students stuffed into their individual boxes (the Post Office personnel will not be able to assist you).

Off-campus publicity for key events is coordinated by the Office of Communications.  Information should be sent, at least four weeks in advance, to communications-office@trincoll.edu, or preferably, your request for off-campus publicity should be indicated through the Trinity Exchange posting process (check box) at least four weeks in advance. Please provide complete event information including the event title, event description, featured guest/speaker, speaker bio, date, time, location, price of admission, contact telephone number and email address, and an indication of whether the event is open to the public.

Supplies

A limited inventory of the following is available for use: easels (Mather Hall and Smith House only), pianos, keyboards, podiums, risers, picnic tables, grills, tables and chairs for outdoor use, and table number stands.  The Office may also assist the event sponsor with the following arrangements: floral, shuttle transportation, signage, rental tables, chairs and tents, and other misc. needs which will be billed directly to the event sponsor.
