Employee Assistance Program
Trinity College has partnered with The Wellness Corporation, a provider of confidential EAP services since 1984. The Wellness Corporation has a wealth of experience working in higher education environments.
The EAP provides all benefit-eligible employees and members of their households with the opportunity to meet with an EAP counselor free of charge. Counselors are able to address a wide variety of issues including:
- Relationship Difficulties
- Stress
- Substance Abuse
- Balancing Work/Life
- Grief and Loss
- Parenting
- Emotional Concerns
- Coping with Change

If an employee or household member needs additional services, the counselor will make a referral. If there is a cost for additional services, it is possible that medical insurance may cover those costs. Referrals will be made to Aetna-participating providers.
In addition, the EAP provides other services, such as:
- Budget and debt assistance
- New parent transition services
- Resources and referral services for a variety of work/life issues including
o Child care

-----------------------------------------------------------------------Wellness Program
Human Resources is sponsoring a Wellness Program each month. Please review the Exchange – where information on each program is announced. A global email will also be sent out prior to each session. Programs are held at noon each month.
The goal of this program is to improve the health and well-being of Trinity College employees through health education and activities that support positive lifestyle changes. Our hope is that this will result in improved morale and productivity and a reduction in healthcare costs for employees and the College.
