Jonathan Handali
Bio: Jonathan was born in Indonesia and raised in Nepal. Before coming to Trinity College he worked with Compassion International as a letter translation manager and editor. Also, he has spent five months serving an unofficial TA post to a French language professor at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. He enjoys playing soccer, badminton, table tennis, swimming, and basketball.

Margot Gianis
Bio: Margot is from New Jersey and at Trinity College is involved with ACES since she was a freshman, in which she now serves as one of the co-presidents. She has also mentored with Connectikids tutoring since freshman year and Big Brothers, Big sisters for two years. Finally, she is the president of Kappa Kappa Gamma and works in the Writing Center.

Mary Crawford-Roberts
Bio: Mary grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Throughout her years at Trinity she has been involved in a lot of community service on campus including Peter's Retreat, Habitat for Humanity, ConnPIRG, Green Campus, and the Darfur Coalition. Mary also lived in Praxis, but now she lives in the Fred. This year she is the campus representative for Teach for America while writing a thesis focusing on Cuba and Cuban Americans in Hartford.

Favorite Place in Hartford: Alchemy, any of our amazing parks, Tisane, Real Artways, the waterfront
Hobbies: I require yoga to be happy and like to play lax or squash, ride my bike, vacuum Cinestudio, explore Hartford, and hike to maintain my magnificent physique. On a less active note I love funny tv like Arrested Development and 30 Rock, writing, pop culture, and live music. I want to learn to surf and silkscreen. I am interested in micro houses, green transportation, community gardens, and traveling.
Monica Au-Yeung
Bio: Monica is from Philadelphia, PA and at Trinity she is involved with Relay for Life, FACES, AMSA, Habitat for Humanity, the Rising Stars Mentoring Program, our Women’s Rugby team and is currently pledging Zeta Omega Eta.

Sean Zimmer
Bio: Sean was raised throughout central Virginia and currently lives near Charlottesville. He was a co-coordinator of the 11th Annual Do It Day along with Anne Bonfiglio ’10. Sean is a member of the Fred Pfeil Community Project, volunteers at Cinestudio, and performs with The Moveable Joints. Sean has a particular interest in environmental history.

Sophie Starchman
Bio: Sophie is from Boise, Idaho and earnestly misses their hot springs, mountains, and beautiful night sky. At Trinity College she is a Co-President of Habitat for Humanity, the President of Lions Club, the Student Coordinator for FACES, and involved with the Antiwar Coalition. This year she serves as a First-Year Mentor in the Cities Program, the Vision Academic Mentoring Program at the Hartford Magnet Middle School, tutors privately and works in the Registrar’s Office.

Tiffany Ruiz
Bio: Tiffany is from Connecticut and on the Pre-Med at Trinity College. She is a Co-President of Habitat For Humanity and a Co-Chair of Relay For Life while also serving as a Senior Resident Assistant, Student Admissions Associate, Teaching Assistant in the Psychology Department, and conducting research in the Neuroscience Department with Professor Susan A. Masino PhD. She is currently conducting clinical research at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and in the works of writing a manuscript for publication. Finally, she was part of the Health Fellows Program in spring 2009 and is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and has presented her research at two of their nation wide Conferences.
